WHOIS 명령어

Whois 명령어는 특정 도메인에 대한 정보를 알 수 있습니다.

처음에 whois 명령어를 쳤을 때, 아래와 같이 command가 not found가 나올 수 있습니다.

해당 부분 명령어가 없어서 설치 후 진행되야 됩니다.

 

# whois google.com
-bash: whois: command not found

whois 명령어 설치 후 확인

 

# yum install -y whois

# whois google.com
No whois server is known for this kind of object.

위와 같이 나온다면, 아래에 내용을 추가해줍니다.

 

# vi /etc/whois.conf

아래 URL에 있는 내용을 추가해줍니다.

http://www.unpm.org/wiki/Sample_whois.conf

추가 후 질의테스트 해보면 정상 질의가 됩니다.
